Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an essential part of the work done daily at IU, with use cases ranging from classroom instruction and faculty research to maintaining our campuses and community engagement across the state. This presentation will provide an overview of the GIS resources available at IU through our Esri Education License and examples of how several of our partners across IU leverage GIS, including the Indiana Geological and Water Survey, Polis, Capital Planning, and IU3D.
