Description
More and more people are finding use cases where they can take advantage of public cloud resources. But maintaining good cloud hygiene is a very real challenge. How can you keep your infrastructure and data secure? How do you avoid nasty surprises on your monthly bill? In this session we will share a carefully curated list of the top ten things that cloud consumers can do to protect themselves and keep their cloud clean. The Enterprise Platforms team leads the support of cloud at IU, including the management of IU’s enterprise agreements with the major cloud service providers. The session will include Enterprise Platforms staff and their partners in Research Technologies sharing real world examples of cloud gone wrong, and specific guidance on how those situations can be avoided.
